International Social Work with Refugees and Migrants

International

An international orientation and the mediation of intercultural sensitivity are central and indispensable objectives of the degree programme. The Faculty of Applied Social Sciences is a member of the European Association of Schools of Social Work (EASSW) and the International Association of Schools of Social Work (IASSW).

FHWS has more than 60 partner institutions throughout the world to be able to offer its students numerous exchange possibilities. This gives our students the opportunity to gain new perspectives and experiences and make friends all over the world.

Among our optional modules, there are different language courses and others through which students can acquire international competences to be perfectly prepared for a stay abroad.

The Faculty of Applied Social Sciences maintains academic partnerships with higher education institutions in Austria, Switzerland, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Poland, Romania, Bulgaria, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Scotland, Jordan, as well as Asia, Columbia, South Africa, Nigeria and the USA.

You can find more detailed information for students from abroad and for studies and internships abroad on the website of the Faculty of Applied Social Sciences in the International section.
