The listed universities are currently the most frequently visited partner universities of our faculty, which is why we have the most experience reports and connections in our student network for them.

In addition to the mentioned countries and cities, there are numerous other partner universities. You can use the MoveOn search engine of the International Office to research further opportunities (access through the pages of HSIN - subsection "Before the semester abroad").

BELGIUM

Antwerp - Karel de Grote Hogeschool Antwerpen

Antwerp is a vibrant learning city with approximately 44,000 full-time students. It has flourished into a major fashion hub and is renowned as the diamond capital of the world. It's an architecturally rich city filled with culture, bars, and restaurants. Moreover, the cities of Brussels, Paris, London, and Amsterdam are easily accessible.

DENMARK

Copenhagen - Metropolitan University College

The "Metropolitan University College" is centrally located in Copenhagen and offers a variety of English-language modules for exchange students.

Furthermore, the university offers free Danish language courses that provide fundamental skills in understanding, speaking, and writing.

FINNLAND

Helsinki - Diakonia-Ammattikorkeakoulu

Helsinki is the capital of Finland and by far the largest city in the country, with a population of 630,072. It serves as the political, economic, scientific, and cultural center of Finland. Diaconia University of Applied Sciences (Diak) focuses on human well-being, preventing social exclusion, and Christian education. It is suitable for students of Social Work (Bachelor & Master).

 


ITALY

Palermo - Università degli Studi di Palermo

Palermo is the capital of the Autonomous Region of Sicily, situated on a bay on the north coast of Sicily. It has experienced various dominations throughout its history, including the Arabs and the Normans, which is evident in the diverse architectural styles that have been preserved.

 


NORWAY

Oslo – VID Specialized University

VID was established in 2016 through the merger of several Norwegian institutions. It has a campus in Oslo, the capital of the Kingdom of Norway. Many attractions contribute to the unique atmosphere of Oslo in its inner fjord setting. The most significant of these is the so-called Gamlebyen (Old Town) with the exposed foundations of medieval Oslo, as well as the Royal Palace and the Akershus Fortress.

 


PORTUGAL

Lisbon - Universidade de Lisboa

The capital of Portugal is located at the mouth of the Tagus River in the far southwest of Europe on the Atlantic coast. Lisbon is the political, economic, and cultural center of the country. The origins of the university date back to the year 1288. With approximately 20,000 students across eight faculties, the university is one of the largest in Portugal. Among the students, there are around 300 Erasmus students from all over Europe.

 

 

An exchange program is available for students in the Bachelor's program in Social Work.

 


SWEDEN

Umeå - Umeå University

Umeå is located in the northern part of Sweden and, due to its proximity to the sea, enjoys a milder climate compared to similar cities in the Swedish interior. Umeå University offers courses in both Swedish and English. The English-language offerings include both introductory and advanced courses.

SPAIN

Granada - Universidad de Granada

Granada is located in Andalusia, Southern Spain, and has approximately 236,000 residents. The university is divided into 17 faculties offering a total of 72 degree programs. Approximately 60,000 students are supervised by around 3,247 professors and lecturers. With about 1,500 students visiting annually, Granada is one of the most popular destination universities for students participating in the Erasmus program. Students in the field of Social Work can take part in an exchange program at this university.

 

Málaga - Universidad de Málaga

Málaga is the second-largest city in Andalusia and the sixth-largest city in Spain. The capital of the province of Málaga boasts one of the largest Spanish airports, a commercial port, and the university. Due to its climate, it is one of the most commonly chosen vacation destinations on the Iberian Peninsula.
