Copenhagen - Metropolitan University College
The Metropolitan University College is situated centrally in the city of Copenhagen; for exchange students, it offers a broad range of English-taught modules.

Aalborg is a major seaport city in the north of Denmark. Aalborg Universitet is different than the older Danish universities with their traditional focus, because its main focus is on interdisciplinary and cross-faculty studies.

Jyväskylä - University of Jyväskylä
Jyväskylä is about 270km away from Helsinki and the seventh largest city of Finland. University of Jyväskylä not only offers various Summer and Winter Schools, but also an English-taught master’s programme in the area of music therapy.

Mikkeli - MAMK Open University of Applied Sciences
Mikkeli is a city with almost 54,000 inhabitants situated directly on the shore in Central Finland; throughout the year it offers spectacular nature.
In addition to different Summer Schools (May to August), MAMK Open University of Applied Sciences also offers many English-taught modules from various disciplines.

With 630,072 inhabitants, Finland’s capital Helsinki is by far the largest Finish city. Helsinki is also the political, economic, scientific and cultural centre of Finland. Kuopio - University of Eastern Finland
University of Eastern Finland (UEF) has been created by merging University of Joensuu and University of Kuopio in 2010. Since then, the university has been regularly ranked among the world’s leading universities. The city of Kuopio is the eighth largest in Finland, a winter sports resort and a popular holiday destination. Exchange is possible for Master’s and Bachelor’s students of the subject area of social work.

LAB University of Applied Sciences
LAB University of Applied Sciences has two locations, Lappeenranta and Lahti. The university has about 8,500 students, including about 200 international students. Students from abroad are an integral part of the university and create an international atmosphere. Lappeenranta is located on Lake Saimaa and has 72,400 inhabitants, 15,000 of whom are students.

Cambridge – Anglia Ruskin University
Cambridge is located in the east of England and is about 80km north-east of London. Anglia Ruskin University has about 31,500 students. There is a campus in Chelmsford, London, Peterborough, and Cambridge.

Bologna - Università di Bologna
The University of Bologna was the first university and thus it is the world’s oldest university. It has over 85,000 students in 11 different locations, for example in Ravenna or Rimini. Bologna is located in northern Italy, about 60km east of the Adriatic Sea.
Possible for students of the area of BA Social Work and for students of the Master’s in International Social Work with Refugees and Migrants.

Studying in the Netherlands
Groningen – Hanzehogeschool Groningen
Groningen is the most attractive city for future study in the Netherlands and is also considered the "best city centre in the Netherlands"! What does that mean? Above all, it means a safe and clean city. But that’s not all. Many student clubs, sports facilities, a rich cultural life, a broad variety of shops, cafés and restaurants, and a unique pub scene make Groningen a very attractive student city.
Hanze University of Applied Siences (UAS) is a modern higher education institution and with 27,000 students and more than 70 degree programmes it is the largest occupational higher education institution in the north of the Netherlands.

The city in the alpine upland on the river Traisen has about 53,445 inhabitants and, depending on its definition, can be considered one of the oldest cities in Austria. There is an old town worth seeing, modern architecture, museums, and galleries. The university offers modern facilities such as an audio lab or a digital health lab for innovative teaching and learning.

Eisenstadt lies at the foot of the Leithagebirge mountains and is the smallest provincial capital in Austria with about 14,000 inhabitants. Every year about 1,000 students begin their education at the university of applied sciences.

Krakow - Jagiellonian University in Krakow
The university was founded in 1364 by the Polish King Casimir the Great and is the oldest university in Poland. Krakow lies in the south of Poland and is about 350km away from Warsaw. With 760,000 inhabitants, Krakow is the country’s second largest city.
A semester abroad in Krakow is possible for students of Social Work.

Studying in Portugal
Lisbon - University of Lisbon
The Portuguese capital lies directly at the mouth of the river Tejo in the extreme southwest of Europe on the Atlantic coast. Lisbon is the political, economic, and cultural centre of the country. The origins of the university go back to the year 1288. With approximately 20,000 students in eight faculties, the university is one of the largest universities in Portugal. Among the students are about 300 Erasmus students from all over Europe.

Sibiu - Universitatea "Lucian Blaga" din Sibiu
This university is one of the oldest universities in Romania. It is divided into nine faculties. About 24,500 students study at the university every year and are taught by about 800 lecturers. Basel - FHNW School of Social Work
Basel is located at the triangle of Germany, France and Switzerland, and is a university city with a humanistic character and numerous universities of different disciplines. The School of Social Work is part of the University of Applied Sciences of North-western Switzerland (FHNW), which also houses the School of Business, the School of Education as well as the Academy of Art and Design.
Due to its specialisation, the FHNW School of Social Work offers a wide range of courses.

Studying in Spain
Granada - University of Granada
Granada is located in Andalusia (southern Spain) and has about 236,000 inhabitants. The university is divided in 17 faculties, which comprise 72 degree programmes. 60,000 students are taught by approx. 3247 professors and lecturers. Granada, with around 1,500 students annually, is one of the most popular destinations for Erasmus students. Students in Social Work can take part in an exchange programme at this university.

Madrid - Complutense University of Madrid
With a population of 3.2 million, the Spanish capital is the third largest city in the European Union after London and Berlin. Madrid is the geographical, political and cultural centre of Spain, and the seat of the Spanish government. Madrid is home to six public universities, several other institutions of higher education, theatres and cultural institutions. The university campus is in the Moncloa district and another is in Somosaguas. With 88,177 students enrolled in the 2006/07 academic year, it was the largest university offering face-to-face teaching in Spain and the second largest in Europe. Students of Social Work can spend a semester in Madrid.

Salamanca - University of Salamanca
The city is located about 220km northeast of Madrid on the river Tormes. The university has about 38,000 students and is home to some of the most prestigious research institutes in Europe. The university is located in the northeast of Spain, in Catalonia. UdG was founded in 1991 and is distributed throughout Girona with the Barri Bell Campus, Emili Grahit Campus, and the Campus de Montilivi. Girona has almost 100,000 inhabitants and is located at the confluence of four rivers in north-eastern Spain.
