Certificate Course Refugee Social Work
The certificate course Refugee Social Work is an application-oriented and occupation-accompanying continuing education programme geared to social work with refugees. It teaches competences in the context of refugees and migration as a field of social work. Work with the host society is also addressed.
In addition to specialist and applied knowledge in the fields of interculturality, pluralism, vulnerability, psychology, pedagogy and law, the participants are taught a cross-disciplinary basic understanding of the connections between flight and migration and of relevant international structures, actors and organisations. They will be enabled to act independently, in a coordinating or guiding capacity in the fields of flight, migration and integration. They learn to promote resource-oriented social participation on the one hand and cohesion on the other, and to identify and pursue sustainable options for action.

Certificate Course Qualified Medical Practitioner
The certificate course offers a proven, trend-setting additional qualification for nursing staff, in particular with further training in anaesthesia and intensive care medicine. Demanding, needs-based acute and intensive medical care is no longer possible without the deployment of specially trained nursing staff. The demand from politicians for qualified, non-physician specialists for delegated medical services is becoming increasingly louder. The cornerstones here are a comprehensive range of services and performance-related remuneration.
The certificate course offers the necessary tools for daily use in acute and intensive medical practice and is an excellent introduction to academic training. The curriculum is based on more than ten years of experience at the Cardiovascular Clinic Bad Neustadt a. d. Saale. Here the qualified medical practitioner is an indispensable part of the treatment team in the intensive care unit.

Certificate Course Specialist for Behavior Based Safety
Sound university knowledge for practice
Risky behaviour is the number one cause of accidents. To persuade people to behave safely, it is not enough to instruct them. Even pressure and the threat of sanctions do not prove to be permanently effective. Behavior Based Safety (BBS) is the application of behavioral principles to the field of occupational safety. BBS is regarded as the best-studied and most effective approach to improving behaviour. BBS is not a prefabricated concept. Anyone who understands the basic principles of BBS and knows how to apply them can successfully implement measures to change safety-relevant behaviour in a wide variety of situations. This certificate course enables graduates to independently develop individual, tailor-made measures to improve safe working behaviour. It includes both the scientific basics and the teaching of competences for the practical implementation of such measures. The curriculum incorporates the many years of experience of scientists and practitioners in the field of occupational safety.

Intellectual Property Certificate Course
The protection of intellectual property plays a prominent role in the development and marketing of innovative products. Entrepreneurial success or failure is often linked to the question of whether a sustainable protection strategy exists for one's own products and whether foreign intellectual property rights are protected at the same time.
The certificate course offers a comprehensive overview of the various intellectual property rights and enables participants to recognize the basic features of the ability and need for protection of innovations and intellectual achievements. Current and practical examples will also be used to develop the legal foundations of competition law (including misleading and comparative advertising), online law and the use of social media.
