Tasks of the Advisory Board:
Central tasks are:
o The Advisory Board continuously develops an up-to-date overview of diversity and anti-discrimination issues at the faculty and proposes measures for improvement.
o The Advisory Board reports regularly to the Faculty Council.
The Advisory Board deals with the institutional conditions in teaching, research and university administration; this includes interpersonal interaction between all faculty and university members as well as the general conditions, for example the rooms and facilities in the university building, the professional orientation of teaching staff and employees, but also regulations and procedures, access to resources and overarching standards and value orientations.
The Advisory Board asks whether there are disadvantages and forms of discrimination at our faculty and university, in particular on the basis of racist and ethnicised attributions, gender, gender identity or sexual orientation, ideology or religion, impairments classified as disabilities, age, physical appearance, socio-economic background, origin or language.
